Owen is the founder and CEO of Meatly, the UK cultivated meat company behind the world's first regulatory approval for cultivated pet food. Originally from Edinburgh, he started his career at Bain & Co before working on an insect-protein venture in Nairobi. He later founded a venture in Silicon Valley backed by Lightspeed Ventures and Pear VC, before founding Meatly in 2021 with Dr. Helder Cruz.
